EDT6030 Course Description:

Candidates examine topics about societal, ethical, and legal issues associated with information and communication technologies. Using web-based applications, candidates participate in professional learning networks to communicate and collaborate on establishing policies and practices that ensure equitable access to technologies, assist others in selecting appropriate technologies resources for learning, and design instructional unit to promote an understanding of digital literacy. Topics include legal and ethical issues, social issues and responsibilities, equitable access, assistive technologies, copyright laws and policies, and internet safety and security.
